Challenges and references

    EduBiota was born from the need to educate informed, critical and participatory citizens in the face of global challenges such as climate change, resource scarcity or pandemics. To this end, it promotes scientific literacy through the study of the human microbiota and its relationship with health.

It is an initiative developed by microbiologists, science communicators and education specialists, inspired by microbiology solutions and integrated into the school curriculum.

Educational references

EduBiota is a program guided by the curricular references of the various dimensions of curricular development, defined by the Directorate-General for Education.

   

Inspired by international programs for microbiology education at various levels of compulsory education.

A program under construction, in which feedback from participating teachers helps to build a better EduBiota.
